, ,This is an opportunity in the exciting and fast-growing transportation technology industry. Public transit is being transformed from a system of static, scheduled fixed routes to a dynamic on-demand network, and you’ll be one of the pioneers shaping this transformation.
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Salesforce Developer to join our talented Engineering team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will help build and enhance our Salesforce platform, aligning business processes with technical solutions and enhancing the overall Salesforce platform's functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, customize, and support scalable Salesforce solutions that align with our business goals.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
- Implement configurations such as custom objects, validation rules, flows, and security controls.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of development best practices.
- Support and troubleshoot issues in existing Salesforce implementations and integrations.
- Assist in the maintenance of technical documentation, including process flows, configurations, and user manuals.
- Work with QA to ensure robust testing of new features and bug fixes.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce developer.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II is a plus.
- Proficient in Salesforce development tools and frameworks including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, automation, and customization capabilities.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git, as part of your development workflow.
- Familiarity with deployment tools and CI/CD processes in Salesforce environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security and performance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $90K - $120K + performance-based bonus + stock options.
